My SO spent a couple of years in Alberta on a project and here is who he used:
in response to your question. i used the law firm of Borden Ladner Gervais for all of our politicking (and legal work) in Alberta. Worked with two guys, vcards attached. Doug was the managing partner and John was the go to business guy. Doug was (and is I assume) very well connected to the Province folks. Both were great guys to work with. Doug is also the principal owner of the Calgary Stampeders professional football team. I kept in touch with both for a couple of years after leaving Canada but have not been in touch recently. Can’t say enough good things about the firm. Hope that helps.
