Snell & Wilmer is essentially in the same position. Not sure we ever had a policy against, but we have a clear history of marriages and family members being employed by the firm.

We used to have such a policy but abandoned it several years ago. We now have married partners and have had married associates. We have also had children of partners employed at the firm and still do today. At this point we are just looking for the best people and will deal with any issues by asking folks to recuse themselves from certain discussions and with hope/prayer things won't get too weird! Dear Fellow SLR Members:

I’m conducting a little research on law firm nepotism policies and could think of no better group to ask. Admittedly, this is atypical of the information usually requested and distributed via the list serve, but I would appreciate any information anyone is willing to share regarding whether their firm has an anti-nepotism policy and if so what are the policy’s general parameters.

Thank you in advance for your consideration.
